Hey there, I'm Jen - 🐿️💕

When I was little, I was the chattiest, happiest, little girl……until I wasn’t.

In 2nd - 3rd grade, I moved to a new school where the kids weren’t so nice to me.

I remember trying to find somewhere to hide on the playground so no one would see me.

 I realized recently that around the same time, I had a step mom that would tell my sisters I wasn’t a Christian.

I knew that was just to hurt me. She had no idea. She would always make sure everyone knew I was different,

& it was apparent she did not want me there, or around her children.

I think this really changed me, & I wasn’t the same child for quite some time. My mom confirms the same.

I would come home from school crying every day. I never took any criticism well after this because for me, it would go straight to identity, & I would assume people didn’t like me.

I always struggled in school, & got things like “ she doesn’t apply herself” on report cards.

By high school I knew my friends didn’t have to try as hard as me to just simply pass in school, but I still didn’t know why.

I didn’t get diagnosed with ADHD until well into adulthood after becoming a mom, a wife, & trying to juggle a career as well.

It is how most women get diagnosed. We finally get so overwhelmed. We can’t manage it all. I went in for depression.

Luckily, right before I went in, I remember looking up signs of depression, and I found that it was a symptom of ADHD.

It feels like the whole world made sense in this moment.

With the realization of the diagnosis came acceptance. I was never dumb. I could explain to my husband the reasons I had always left things out on the counters so I wouldn’t forget

It made me a better mom too. My fuse was short with my daughter when she was little & now I know why.

 Now I help women get out of their own heads, & out of their own way. To live into your passion of entrepreneurship, & an abundant life that you were made for…... & we do it the neurospicy way. We start with acceptance.

No matter how far down the wrong path you’ve gone it is never too late to turn around.

Being in a room with like minded women is the missing piece you didn’t know you needed. Whether you are in the messy middle, or just so many things in your head that you can’t make sense of it all, we got you.

 As I have researched more & more about what adhd is, (& what it isn’t ) it also explains my drive to keep the conversation alive about how capable we are when women support one another.

It explains my out of the box thinking, & has led me to bring as many women along the journey with me as I can.

You see, there is nothing that makes me happier than seeing others discover their passion. To take back your power. I’m not the only little girl that lost her power at some point in her childhood, but I’ll be damned if I’m not part of the solution, of the movement, to take it back.
