INTRODUCING...

In Your Words:

ADHD Edition

ADHD symptoms in women go largely unnoticed. We often receive an ADHD diagnosis much later in life than our male counterparts.

We declutter our lives….I want to declutter your brain….replace all the noise with a quiet mind, & reenforce that you are not broken

Some things we help manage, & discuss are:

  • anxiety related to ADHD
  • organizational skills
  • inability to focus or prioritize
  • negative self talk
  • disorganization
  • problems focusing
  • time blindness
  • racing thoughts
  • overwhelm
  • constant internal chatter & running dialogue that doesn’t shut up šŸ˜Š
Girls and women tend to show more inattentive symptoms than hyperactivity
They are also more likely to present with internalizing symptoms than externalizing.
Symptoms like not paying attention to details, being easily distracted, & forgetfulness are quickly labeled by others.
We often develop coping strategies that mask our symptoms.
We become scared of failing and not being able to deliver. Why? Because of the past we internalize.
Enter, anxiety, & depression. This is often the moment we finally seek help.
I’m in for $7.00

Think you have ADHD? Don’t wait another day to finally feel seen, & heard by other women with the same sense of overwhelm.

If you feel like no matter how hard you try, it's never good enough, you're not alone.

Despite growing solutions geared towards women, studies show that 80% of adult ADHD women still feel like they are falling short. With a staggering majority of the female population feeling the same way, it can only mean one thing. We need support, & proper tools to help us.

This masterclass for ADHD in women will help you do just that. With resources for diagnosis, managing symptoms to work for you, and ways to connect with other women just like you.

ADHD doesn’t change who you are, only how you behave in certain situations. Knowing is half the battle. We simply get to the heart of this. Lift each other up, & teach the skills you need to start feeling better about yourself.

Because you are so worth it!

I have had ADHD my whole life, but didn’t find out well into adulthood. Looking back, I started realizing how much my ADHD touches every single thing that I do. It contributed to my self concept as a kid. Or lack of it, rather. It is the reason I didn’t stick with anything as a young adult. So many things will make sense once you know these reasons for the things you do differently. It feels like the more I have learned about it, the more weight is lifted. I  come more unapologetically me. All of the techniques, & modalities I have used in the past to help with anxiety, helped my ADHD directly, & I didn’t even know it at the time. I am so excited to be able to share this knowledge with you.

My hope is that you will finally accept yourself as beautifully different, & think of it as your superpower because there are so many things we can do better!

  • We multitask better
  • We are more creative
  • & we make great entrepreneurs!

I have never met a fellow ADHDer that didn’t have a magnetic personality. Truly. As a  mother, wife, and small business owner, I juggle all the things, as I am sure you do too. Society may put us in boxes, but that doesn't mean we have to stay there.

Join me on a journey of self-discovery, and unapologetic confidence.

IS THIS BOOK RIGHT FOR YOU?

So far I have gone over the what, & the why, but I haven't touched on the how:

Besides medication, the number one solution for managing ADHD symptoms is Cognitive behavioral Therapy (CBT).

CBT aims to change irrational thought patterns that prevent individuals from staying on task or getting things done. For an individual with ADHD who thinks, “This has to be perfect or it’s no good,” or “I never do anything right,” CBT challenges the truth of those cognitions. Changing distorted thoughts, and the resulting change in behavior patterns, is effective in treating anxiety, and other related problems.

CBT can help people identify and deconstruct difficult or harmful thought patterns. This can lead to positive outcomes for emotions and behavior.

It  is rooted in the idea that thoughts impact feelings and feelings impact behavior. Therefore, if we can reframe our thoughts, we can subsequently change our feelings and then our behavior.

Reframing your thoughts can help alleviate anxiety and improve your quality of life.

Automatic negative thoughts are involuntary negative perceptions of reality that occur out of habit. They can be difficult to recognize since they are brief and cause negative emotions.

If you can change how you think about a situation or how you respond to a situation, then you can change how you feel in a situation. This can be a powerful tool, as it’s difficult (if not impossible) to just turn your feelings on or off.

It’s also important to understand that we all have distorted thoughts at times. Every single one of us.
